This is my first post in my blog. In this post I am suggesting some methods to get a sporty look for your ride.
Alloy Wheels
The basic of all customization starts from alloy wheels. There are a huge variety of wheels available in the market. Price depends on the Size of the wheel and the Brand. Alloy wheels are available in sizes from 12 inches. Designs vary from product to product. Best brands available in India are BBS, Konig, OZ etc. Brands like Plati, HR, Aura etc are available in affordable prices. Price range starts from Rupees 10500. Color options are also available now.
Custom Grills
After market Sport bumpers are available for selected models like Maruti Suzuki Swift. Grills are usually fabricated according to the need of the customer. Customization shops are available across the country. Meshed custom grills can cost around 5000 Rupees depending upon the vehicle.
Projector Headlamps and Angel Eyes
Angel eye
As the name says, gives an angel like look to your ride. These are available in the market for about 10 years. Cost was little high and this was the reason for its less demand. Price range starts from rupees 12000 for a pair of headlights. Price is highly dependent on the demand and the vehicle.
Projector Headlamps
A projector, a ring outside it and an Xenon HID kit comes as a package. Different sizes of projectors are available. Rings are available in different colors Most available colors for the ring are White, Blue, Red, Green and Purple. For an average product, price range starts from Rupees 2500 per projector unit.
Audio System
Depends on what type of user you are. A wide variety of audio systems are available. You can choose from a variety of head units, Front speakers, Rear Speakers, Sub woofers, Amplifiers, Bass tubes, etc. A very normal system with 4 speakers and a sub woofer will cost more than rupees 20000.
Exhaust Systems
A sporty ride should always have a sporty exhaust note too. For that after market sport exhaust systems and mufflers are available. Muffler can produce a sporty sound but it has nothing much to do with the performance of the vehicle. For those who need a little performance mod along with the sound mod, you have free flow exhaust systems available in the market. For a free flow exhaust system, you need to replace the full exhaust of the vehicle from the headers. The result is enhanced sound than the muffler and better performance too. Muffler is available from a rupees 3000 depending on the vehicle. Free flow exhaust will have a price starting from rupees 10000. Brands available are Remus, Automech, HKS, Nitto, etc.
This is the first set of mods to be made to your ride to make it look sporty.
